Clean Energy inks deal with city of L.A., continued ...

“We are delighted to have this opportunity to work with the city of Los Angeles/ONT to support their efforts to curb harmful air pollution and global warming emissions," says Clean Energy Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer James Harger.

The firm has partnered with more than 20 major metropolitan and international airports to help them switch their vehicles to alternative fuels, according to Harger.

Ontario International Airport is located 35 miles east of downtown L.A. It is a medium-hub, full-service airport and is owned by LAWA.

Clean Energy Fuels provides CNG and LNG gas to a number of markets, including trucking, transit and airport. The company fuels more than 17,200 vehicles at more than 180 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
