Cypress-based Hybrid Apparel has inked a licensing deal with the Levi's brand to develop a complete collection of U.S. men's and junior tops. The product line will retail in specialty, department and midtier stores.

It's been a busy summer for Hybrid: The company also recently signed nine licensing agreements with "Modern Warfare 2 – Call of Duty" and "Despicable Me" (Universal Studios, 2010), among other brands.

The new collection will offer a number of selections, including wovens, knits and T-shirts for both men and juniors, according to Hybrid owner and CEO Jarrod Dogan.

"Hybrid ... really understands what it takes to be a competitor in the retail tops space," he continues.
