The ATMS Phase Two Project is also expected to offer expanded operations to city and Caltrans signalized intersections, as well as initiate the integration of Norco's and Riverside County's platforms into the program.
The award is positive news for the company, which also recently reported second quarter revenue of nearly $15 million. It's a 1.6 percent increase from the first quarter of this year, though the number dropped 22 percent from the same time last year.
Iteris develops and operates technologies that work to reduce traffic congestion, minimize the environmental hazards produced on the roads and improve the safety of surface transportation systems. The firm has offices throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia.
