Twelve Orange County companies were named among Deloitte's Technology Fast 500. The highest-ranking local company was Tustin-based AMDL Diagnostics, a Radient Pharmaceuticals company, which came in at No. 19. The firm reported 15,099 percent revenue growth over a five-year period.
The annual program ranks companies in the technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean-tech industries based on revenue growth over a five-year period.
The medical equipment sector led the local ranking with four firms, followed by the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals division with three companies.
Three companies were among the top 50 – AMDL, Irvine-based Spectrum Pharmaceuticals at No. 22 and Irvine-based ISTA Pharmaceuticals, which came in at No. 47.

The company saw 364 percent revenue growth over the five-year period. Trinet President John Carley says this is primarily due to the staff, the company's innovative vision and work to provide new Web solutions, and, of course, the clients.
