Voit directs 2 company expansions, continued ...

Despite the hardships many companies are facing, Mike Bouma, senior vice president of the commercial brokerage arm's Anaheim Metro office, says Corix and Bacozone are still holding strong.

“These two companies are currently thriving, allowing them to secure comparatively low lease rates in well-located, high-quality buildings, when most other companies are sitting on the sidelines waiting to see how the market plays out,” says Bouma.

Yet the commercial properties sector still faces hardships, despite these successful transactions, according to industry experts. Many say commercial defaults and foreclosures could rise in the next 12 months.
