• updated 10/08/2012 9:05AM ‘High Society’ hosts clean-water benefit High Society, a private membership social club that provides its members with an elevated lifestyle while supporting both local and national charities, hosted a fundraiser at Mozambique Restaurant in Laguna Beach on Thursday, Oct. 4. Proceeds from the event benefited Let It Flow, a nonprofit organization with the mission of providing proper sanitation and clean-water systems to underdeveloped communities around the world.
  
  Numerous television personalities attended the event, including professional skateboarders Tony Hawk and Rob Dyrdek, Top Chef contestant Dave Martin, and The Bachelorette competitors Emily Maynard and Jeff Holm. The Toledo Show, a speakeasy-style burlesque dance troupe, performed for guests. Attendees were also able to participate in live and silent auctions.
  
  Professional skateboarder Nyjah Huston and his mother Kelle founded the Let It Flow organization. The group believes that making clean, running water more accessible is the key to building healthy, productive and sustainable communities. The proceeds from the High Society event at Mozambique Restaurant will benefit Let It Flow’s ongoing efforts to build water wells in Ethiopia.
  
  High Society is a membership organization that provides concierge services while partnering with philanthropic organizations to achieve altruistic goals. High Society’s previous charity partners have included the Trump Golf and Bowling Charity Event in 2007, which benefited the Salvation Army, and the Roger Mason, Jr. “Ball For A Cause” in 2009, which supported the National Kidney Foundation.
