The local fundraiser is holding its event at the Orange County Great Park, with planned appearances by Major League Soccer players Danny Califf and Patrick McLain. ABC 7 Eyewitness News Anchor Philip Palmer will be the event’s Master of Ceremonies.

Autism is considered the fastest-growing developmental disorder, and statistics from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control show that autism affects nearly 1 in every 88 American children. The event also aims to raise money for autism research and family services. More than 9,000 attendees are expected at the fundraiser, planned for on Oct. 13 at El Toro Field in Great Park.
