Getac launches updated rugged notebook computer
Irvine-based Getac, a manufacturer of rugged computers, tablets and other technology, has launched an updated version of its best-selling rugged notebook computer with more advanced features.
The B300 notebook computer is designed for use in tough, harsh and rugged outdoor conditions, suitable for military applications in nearly all environments. The third generation Getac B300 computer offers improved CPU performance of up to 67 percent and nearly double the graphics performance of the previous generation.
“Today we launched the fourth generation of the B300, our most popular rugged notebook that has been deployed across every major rugged sector from police and fire to military, utilities and field service,” said Jim Rimay, president of Getac. “We’ve packed even faster processors, amazing graphics and increased storage with a long list of features from QuadraClear Display, subfreezing operation, and up to 30 hours of extended battery life.”
The rugged notebook also has higher speed and performance and is designed to endure the harshest working conditions. Users can easily view the screen in extreme lighting conditions and in the sand or snow.
All of Getac’s products carry a 5-year bumper-to-bumper warranty that covers any damage that may occur due to accidents or environmental exposure.
