Charla Batey Charla Batey recently joined Costa Mesa-based nonprofit Working Wardrobes as manager of donor relations. Charla brings an excellent background in public relations, special events planning, journalism and online advertising, to new responsibilities in organizing fundraising events, handling donor relations and managing the organization’s public relations, marketing and social media campaigns. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of California, Irvine and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Orange County chapter. Since 1991, Working Wardrobes has served nearly 60,000 adults emerging from a wide spectrum of backgrounds, including welfare-to-work, alcohol and substance abuse, transitioning from military to civilian work, domestic violence, transitional homelessness, catastrophic illness and traumatic financial losses.
