Absolutely LOVE and OWN what you chose as your career in life. If you don’t, you won’t do it with much conviction or passion.

Advice to other women in business:
Cultivate friendships in your life. Seek like-minded people who can be companions and will support you in your path. Make friends and lose the network mentality.

Tips for making the bikini-buying process less scary:
You have to really love yourself and your body before you try on a bikini. That’s really what the bikini is about. Big, small or everything in between, the bikini is a celebration of a woman’s figure. So if you go into the try-on process with that mentality, you will find the perfect bikini for you.

Wise’s career may be hotter than the swimsuits she designs for L*Space. Her company won the Surfwear Industry Manufacturers Association’s “Swimwear Brand of the Year” for the fourth consecutive year.

Her designs – loved by celebrities – were featured last month in Sports Illustrated’s iconic swimsuit issue. And Wise was recently selected as the Mercedes-Benz designer of the year, which has never been given to someone working exclusively for a swimwear brand.
