ASP provides defense for medical infection
The Irvine-based company's Cleanascope reduces the risk of cross-contamination.

Advanced Sterilization Products, a company that designs infection-prevention solutions for the medical industry, is releasing its new Cleanascope product for health care facilities administering GI procedures.
With ever-tightening guidelines for medical procedures, as well as the high risks associated with infection, keeping surgical equipment clean is a top priority for health care staff. The Cleanascope System allows medical professionals to easily identify clean endoscope equipment versus contaminated ones.
The system's boxes are color-coded: Red means used, green means clean. The equipment can also safely and securely be moved around the facility without damage.
The Cleanascope System comes in four sizes with two, five, six and 10 trays, and its sterile liners can be reordered.
