Irvine-based Accenx, a leading provider of health management exchange (HIE) solutions announced Monday that it is collaborating with Chicago-based Initiate Systems Inc.Accenx will offer fully managed, remote hosting of Initiate Patient, for health care customers. The first customer for the joint solution is OhioHealth, a family of 15 hospitals, 20 health and surgery centers, home-health providers, medical equipment and health service suppliers throughout a 46-county area. “OhioHealth is routinely recognized for clinical excellence and innovation, and maintaining this leadership position requires the near-constant upgrading of applications and implementation of new information systems,” says Mrunal Shah, M.D., ABFM, vice president of Physician Technology and OhioHealth Information Services.
