Advantage Systems sees record year

The Irvine-based firm achieved highest sales figure since 2006.

Irvine-based Advantage Systems says it hit a three-year record high in sales last year and posted a 28 percent increase over its 2008 figure.

The firm, which provides accounting and contract management products for the mortgage and real estate industries, cites its Web-based Branch Reporting Tool among the reasons for its steady growth.

The tool – a part of the firm's Accounting for Mortgage Bankers system – allows branch managers to obtain information about their offices without requiring help from corporate personnel, says Advantage President Brian Lynch.

“Branch managers see data in real time, while the corporate office improves time and cost-efficiency,” he notes.

Advantage Systems also released its Accounting for Mortgage Bankers second-generation commission calculation module, as well as upgrades to the product's imaging abilities last year. Company officials said the move boosted the firm's sales numbers and supported mortgage industry professionals during the economic downturn.

“Despite the challenges in the mortgage industry, Advantage Systems was able to achieve record growth due to our continued focus on developing products that drastically increased efficiency and decrease operating costs for lenders,” says Lynch. “In our 24-year history, we have experienced these ups and downs before and are prepared to help lenders grow in 2010.”
