YouMail expands availability

Visual voicemail service now offered for free to Sprint customers.

Aliso Viejo-based YouMail's voicemail system is now available to Sprint customers with BlackBerry Smartphones and Androids – for no extra charge.

YouMail is a visual voicemail system that allows users access to their voicemail inboxes directly from their mobile phones. This way, users can scroll through incoming voicemail messages and play voicemails simply by clicking on them.

YouMail has garnered a good deal of interest from Sprint customers, according to YouMail CEO Alex Quilici. He says the firm has been "overwhelmed" by requests from users who want to receive YouMail services with no extra fees.

“Sprint has done a great service to the wireless community by eliminating their previous 20 cents per minute charge for conditional call forwarding and making it easy for users to set up conditional call forwarding that services like YouMail require,” he says.
