Allergan, Clinique pair for healthy skin
The Irvine-based health care company and Clinique have created a new skin care line for cosmetic procedures.

Clinique Medical, the product of the partnership, is specifically formulated to strengthen skin before and after non-surgical procedures. The product contains ingredients with patent-pending components and has been tested in two double-blind controlled studies.
The 12-week studies showed that the skin care line produced positive results and reduced the appearance of lines, wrinkles, age spots and skin tone. It also reduced redness, which is common after an in-office procedure like a chemical peel.
Clinique Medical is just one of Allergan's recent products backed by scientists that's able to deliver to a target audience and need.
"Combining the strengths of both Allergan and Clinique, the products in the Clinique Medical line leverage innovative technologies formulated to specifically address the explicit needs of patients' skin when undergoing some of the most popular in-office procedures," says Robert Grant, Allergan's corporate vice president.
The kit includes a probiotic cleanser, skin conditioning treatment, recovery week complex, treatment cream and daily sunscreen.
