![]() “The mural contest will provide an opportunity for our winning artists to showcase their talents while giving us memorable artwork that will provide an even more inviting environment for our guests,” said Shaun Robinson, general manager of the Hilton Anaheim. Hotel reps hope the murals will convey Orange County’s welcoming spirit and showcase the Hilton’s efforts to develop the arts within the community. The three murals will enhance the hotel’s $1 million renovated pool area. On July 7 the hotel will host a reception for any questions regarding the competition. Applicants are to submit a color drawing of their proposed design, along with a short explanation, a current resume, a completed application form and four electronic images of relevant existing work. A panel of judges from The Hilton Anaheim and the MUZEO will judge the prospective artists’ applications. The deadline for applications is Aug. 4, and the finished murals will be unveiled on Sept. 15.
