![]() The proposed high-capacity system would offer more dependable travel choices in the area surrounding the planned Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center to bustling business and entertainment spots such as the Platinum Triangle and the Anaheim Resort. So, what's the goal of the project? "To provide a last-mile transit connection for residents, workers and visitors to the area's major employment and activity centers," says Anaheim Mayor Curt Pringle. He says Anaheim is one of the most visited cities in the U.S. – the Disneyland Resort is a huge draw, as well as Angel Stadium and the Honda Center – and he believes the city needs a "world-class transportation system employing modern technologies."
