Irvine-based Arges Group, a real estate advisory firm, has been acquired by Dallas-based Carwin Advisors.

The acquisition expands Carwin’s presence on the West Coast. The Arges Group staff will remain in Orange County and will be adding workers as the company grows. Arges Group Co-Founders Bret Berry and Scott Miller will act as senior directors, leading engagements throughout California.

Carwin and Arges are both known for advising lenders, investors, builders and developers on residential, commercial and mixed-use development issues across the country.

"We are excited about joining Carwin – the combined platforms generate tremendous scale and depth of resources for the benefit of our current and future clients," said Miller. "We will continue to offer our Arges clients the focused advisory and management services they have come to expect, but now with the additional talent, resources and support of the entire Carwin team."
