was this close to not mentioning this one, because I live near the
Coach House, and Hugh Laurie will be at the Coach House, and I don’t
want anyone to go but me because he makes me write run-on sentences. In
town to promote his New Orleans blues album, “Let Them Talk,” Laurie
will sing and play the piano. I’ll be the squealy fan girl in front of

it Ethel Merman who sang “I Love a Parade”? Well, she sings it when it
pops in my head on completely random occasions, like when I think of May
– because May means parades, festivals and food that comes on a stick.
Nearly 900 musicians and dancers from all over the world are expected at
the event, as well as a ton of international food – stick not
