Although the characters live on a street located on the fringes of New
York City, these aren’t the loveable riff-raff who populate the
children’s show. They’re in their 20s and 30s, and deal with the kind
of adult problems that never popped up in Jim Henson’s universe: things
such as unemployment, racism and Internet porn addiction.
Profanity
is used quite extensively in the show, and one of the biggest hits is
called “The Internet is for Porn,” so even though it may channel
“Sesame Street” vibes, this particular puppet-infused piece isn’t a
show for the entire family. But grown-ups and teenagers fond of “South
Park” will appreciate the black humor.

stopping the Hunger Artists from mounting Albee’s most famous play,
“Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” It’s a caustic look at one of
literature’s most dynfunctional marital relationships. 699-A S. State College Blvd., Fullerton, 714.680.6803
