Patrick ‘Rick’ Lund

Unfortunately, many fall prey to the belief that their legal cause is lost or without hope. But for longtime attorney Rick Lund, his mission is to reignite that hope in just causes.
   
“Since sixth grade, I always wanted to help the underdog,” he says. “That’s why at our firm, we are not afraid to tackle thorny issues for clients thought to be beyond repair, or to stand up against severe deadlines and apparently lost causes, if we can make a difference. We strive to be clear and concise, explaining goals and outlining risk, but we are optimistic and aggressive.”
   
As the founder of Lund Law Group in Newport Beach, for the last 30 years Lund has specialized in navigating the sometimes choppy waters of civil litigation, so much so that his expertise is the litigation process itself. It is this seasoned expertise that he feels is extremely valuable, unique and effective for clients.
   
His proudest moments came when he was able to recover property for families or seniors thought to be lost forever.
   
Personally, Lund has been married to his college sweetheart since 1975. He graduated from Pepperdine University in 1979 and started his own law firm that same summer in Newport Beach. He has two grown children and one grandchild, born just last month.
   
Lund hopes to continue his firm’s effective litigation services and improve upon them. And he sets out to achieve his legal goals in an economic, ethical and effective manner. He believes it’s important to communicate the legal process and the risks clearly and often to his clients and account for time and outcomes.
   
“My goal is to be excellent, effective and creative,” he said. “I love the law, and I love the opportunity to navigate its history, rules and procedures to effect great client results.”
