  • Michelle A. Reinglass is a leading lawyer, mediator and arbitrator in all areas of employment and labor law, including wrongful termination, sexual harassment and employment discrimination. Reinglass is a member of American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and has successfully tried many cases before juries, judges and arbitrators. Her firm features a knowledgeable team of labor and employment lawyers and staff members.

After 30 years of litigation, Reinglass is planning a transition toward more mediation work. She mediates with Judicate West, and conducts arbitrations through Judicate West and the American Arbitration Association.

“In mediation we strive for peacemaking rather than ‘battles’ of litigation; it allows parties to mutually resolve their differences,” she says. “It is rewarding to help people avoid that battle and be enabled to move forward with their lives.”

An active member of the legal community, Reinglass served as president of the Orange County Bar Association, chairman of the California Employment Lawyers Association, and has served on numerous other law-related boards.

Reinglass has received many honors and awards including being named a Best Lawyer by Best Lawyers in America, a Super Lawyer by Los Angeles Magazine, (including top 50 in Orange County, top 100 in Southern California and top 50 Female Lawyers), and one of the Daily Journal top 100 Female Litigators in California and top 25 California Employment and Labor Lawyers.

In the community, Reinglass is a former president and board member of Child or Parental Emergency Services (COPES) has been a cast member and sponsorship committee member for the CHOC Follies, served on the board of Working Wardrobe, and is a member of the United Way Women’s Philanthropy Group. In addition, she and her firm annually support and run in the Race for the Cure, and support Toys for Tots and Wiseplace, among other causes.
