    • Best Best & Krieger congratulates Sonia Rubio Carvalho for being selected as one of Orange County’s top attorneys!
       
    A widely respected municipal lawyer and UC Irvine graduate, Ms. Carvalho serves as the city attorney for Yorba Linda, Azusa and Claremont. She is an expert on open government laws, including the Brown Act and the Public Records Act, as well as elections, initiatives and referenda, Proposition 218 tax issues, and land use law.
       
    Ms. Carvalho is not only a partner in BB&K’s municipal and redevelopment law practice group but also oversees the firm's Irvine office as its managing partner. BB&K Irvine offers a full array of legal services, including municipal, special district, environmental, business, real estate and school law, as well as litigation.
       
    She is among the attorneys who helped BB&K rank in the top ten percent of the nation’s most racially diverse law firms, according to the Minority Law Journal’s survey published in May.
