![]() An experienced intellectual property and entertainment attorney, John Tehranian represents numerous Hollywood, publishing, new media and technology clients. He has handled a wide range of high-profile litigation, from infringement claims involving Winston Churchill’s speeches and an ownership conflict over Jimi Hendrix’s last major concert recording to fair use rights over Britney Spears photographs and remake rights to a Jules Verne classic. A graduate of Harvard University and Yale Law School, Tehranian began his legal career at O’Melveny & Myers LLP and later served as a tenured Professor of Law at the University of Utah. He is the author of dozens of articles and two books, Infringement Nation (Oxford University Press, forthcoming 2010) and Whitewashed (New York University Press, 2009).
