Irvine-based Automatic Partners LLC, a pure digital agency that builds cutting-edge Web sites with the latest technologies, has been tapped by Mobile Line Communications of Tustin to build its next-generation Web site. Mobile Line is one of the nation’s largest distributors of brand name mobile and cell phones and accessories.

The new Web site will entail a new dealer portal that delivers innovative business tools and enhanced user interface to better serve its 2,000 independent wireless dealers.

The new B2B e-commerce portal and customer service application will be designed to integrate all facets of the consumer experience, from initial order to final delivery.

“This is a highly technical implementation with a visually compelling presentation layer,” says Jim Kitchen, VP of Operations for Automatic. “We expect Mobile Line to become one of the top 500 e-tailers in the U.S. and because of their incredible volume and network, we’re both looking to build a truly great user experience.”

“We’re very excited about the Web site,” says Tom Redington, VP of Sales & Marketing at Mobile Line. “It will expand the virtual inventory that our customers can sell and streamline their supply chain which is critical given today’s business climate.”

According to Redington, Mobile Line chose Automatic because of its technical expertise – especially the ability to integrate into Mobile Line’s ERP systems.

“Automatic isn’t just a great Southern California digital agency, they are a world-class digital agency that has incredible talent,” he says. “We did an exhaustive search and they simply surged ahead as the best company to work with.”
