Huntington Beach-based BJ’s opens 87th eatery
The popular casual-dining chain sets up its newest store in Allen, Texas.

BJ’s Restaurants, the popular casual dining chain based in Huntington Beach, opened its 87th eatery in the Dallas suburb of Allen, Texas, this week.
The 9,000-square-foot BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is the company’s 15th location in Texas, and it’s the fifth opening this fiscal year, says Jerry Deitchle, chairman and CEO of the chain.
“We remain on track to open five more restaurants before the end of the year and thereby achieve our goal to increase our total restaurant operating weeks by approximately 15 percent for the full year,” he says.
