Melinda Morgan Kartsonis is a strong contributor to the marketing industry, with a career spanning more than 30 years. With an agency founded in 1991, Morgan Kartsonis built a dynamic office space in 2005 that features a state-of-the-art test kitchen and conference room, with multimedia and focus group capabilities. She has received the Distinguished Service Award twice from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Orange County Chapter – both as an individual and an organization. Her company has earned more than 50 distinctive industry awards from PRSA. Morgan Kartsonis was named among Orange Coast magazine's Hot 11 in its Power of PR issue, and has been recognized by the Orange County Business Journal as a Top Businesswoman many times. She also has received awards from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Orange County's Finest) and American Lung Association (Volunteer of the Year).
Assisting in the educational sector, Morgan Kartsonis was an adjunct professor at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, along with Cal State Fullerton and Cal State Long Beach, and UC Irvine.
Under her leadership, Morgan Marketing & Public Relations has developed a competitive position with a roster of stellar local, regional and national long-term client relationships, including Wienerschnitzel (since 1995), Panda Restaurant Group (since 1998), King’s Hawaiian (since 1998), Snell & Wilmer LLP (since 2002) and Bubba Gump Shrimp (since 2002). Other clients include Ramirez International, one of Orange County’s leading accounting firms; Dynamic Fabrication Inc., a custom metal manufacturer; Il Fornaio’s Canaletto restaurant; The Melting Pot restaurants; and Fresh Foods Café.
Currently, Morgan Kartsonis serves as a board member with the International Foodservice Editorial Council, helping to spearhead the organization’s mission “to advance the industry through encouraging excellence in business-to-business communications.” Morgan Kartsonis also was accepted into the prestigious Los Angeles/Orange County Chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier International, the leading organization for “women of achievement in the culinary, fine beverage and hospitality professions.” She is also a member of the Ladies Philoptochos Society of St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church.

A passionate epicurean, world traveler and wine enthusiast, Morgan Kartsonis enjoys Pilates, spinning and hiking, and she relishes her weekends at her Laguna Beach home with her husband and chocolate Labrador retriever, Cocoa Chanel.
