Irvine-based Boost Mobile is preparing to launch its latest cellular device, the Motorola Rambler, which is being touted as the texter’s new best friend.
Equipped with an easy-to-use QWERTY keypad integrated into the flip-phone’s design, the Rambler goes hand-in-hand with Boost Mobile’s $50 monthly unlimited plan, which covers voice, text, Web, e-mail, 411 and instant messaging, without requiring an annual contract.
The Rambler also features a camera that takes pictures and videos, Bluetooth wireless technology and a GPS system.
Priced at $99.99, the Rambler will be available starting Aug. 11.
“Motorola Rambler takes texting to the next level with a full QWERTY keyboard and the multimedia features consumers crave,” said Motorola Mobile Devices Vice President Richard Gadd. “Motorola is excited to further expand our portfolio to include even more innovative product offerings for Boost Mobile customers.”
