Suzuki and the editors of Motor Trend, 4-Wheel & Off-Road and Motorcyclist magazines are embarking on an international road trip – dubbed Tokyo to L.A.: The Hard Way – that will take them from Tokyo to the Suzuki headquarters in Brea.
The three driver teams have decided to put the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi, the Equator and V-Strom DL 650 through the ultimate long-term test drive, covering about 7,500 miles and four countries – Japan, Russia, Canada and the U.S. They’ll embark on their journey this month from Suzuki’s new Sagara plant in Japan before heading to Russia and Siberia. After ending at Magadan, the vehicles will be airlifted to Alaska, where the road trip will continue through British Columbia and conclude in Brea.
Through this rigorous expedition, the Motor Trend staff hopes the “biggest little company you’ve never heard of” will be globally recognized.
Fans and supporters can follow this monthlong adventure through networks such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
