Brea-based Suzuki fills your gas tank this summer
Automaker offers free fuel with purchase of certain models.

In an effort to boost its falling sales numbers, Brea-based American Suzuki Motor Corp. is offering car buyers free gasoline with the purchase of select models.
The nationwide Free Gas for Summer promotion – which runs until Aug. 31 – is available to consumers who purchase new 2009 SX4 Sedan or 2009 SX4 Crossover models. Suzuki is also offering $2,000 in cash on all 2009 SX4 vehicles bought with a manual transmission.
"Suzuki recognizes the economic challenges facing Americans and thought this promotion was a great way to provide relief for car buyers," says Koichi Suzuki, executive vice president of American Suzuki Automotive Operations.
