Customers will receive a stored-value debit card that can be used for fuel purchases for six months. For a SX4 Sedan/Sport, the free gas incentive will total $270, and for the SX4 Crossover, the total will be $290.
The amount on each card will be selected by a number of factors, including a three-month timeframe for driving, the car's Environmental Protection Agency's estimated highway miles per gallon, the Federal Highway Administration's estimated average of 1,000 miles driven per month and the U.S. national average price of one gallon of regular gas.
