Additionally, Ruehle's alleged co-conspirators, founding partner Henry T. Nicholas goes to trial in February on the fraud case and also faces separate drug charges. Other founding partner Samueli awaits sentencing after pleading guilty to one count of making a false statement to the Securities and Exchange Commission. He may testify in Ruehle's trial, which is expected to last approximately nine weeks.
