Budget Blinds Inc. has set out on a holiday mission to raise $20,000 in 20 days for the Santa Ana-based Blind Children’s Learning Center (BCLC). The Orange-based franchise will match the donation in an effort to support the BCLC’s initiatives to provide early intervention, education and services for blind children and their families.

“We are amazed at the energy behind this offer,” said Carolyn Baker, director of development for the Blind Children's Learning Center. “Not only are the folks at Budget Blinds pledging a $20,000 matching gift, but they’re working to raise $20,000, too.”

Anyone interested in participating in the fundraiser is encouraged to donate by visiting Budget Blinds’ website, the Budget Blinds Facebook page, or the Blind Children’s Learning Center’s Blog and clicking on the ‘Chip In’ link.

Budget Blinds Chief Operations Officer Todd Jackson expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative. “I was truly impressed and excited to see the great work being done at the Center. So I told my partners that we really needed to do something more than our initial idea, and the guys were on board in a second. So, now we’re on a mission to raise $20,000 in 20 days so that we can match it.”
