Last week, Anaheim-based C&G Technologies celebrated its 10-year anniversary and is looking forward to a year of growth highlighted by its newest online project, thisweekinMEDIT.tv.
Carlos Castro and Jeremy Gregg founded C&G Technologies in 2002 to help companies with their information technology needs. Earlier this month, the company held an open-house networking event to celebrate its 10-year anniversary and honor the launch of thisweekinMEDIT.tv
The new website is a medical technology source that will provide up-to-date news focusing on the medical and IT industries. Specifically, it will report the latest answers to healthcare and technology questions, showcase upcoming events and interview medical companies.
“ThisweekinMEDIT.tv [is the result of] over a year-long process from surveying and finding out what is important to the audience, gathering a team to research the most accurate information and looking for medical companies that would highlight the new technologies available to medical practices,” said thisweekinMEDIT.tv host JamieLee Salgatar.
The concept for the site was inspired after interacting with medical companies who had constant questions about electronic documentation, cloud computing wireless and tablet integration, and other IT concerns.
“The feedback that CEO Carlos Castro got was that these medical professionals didn’t know where to go or who to trust about healthcare IT so he decided to establish an online resource to direct these medical professionals to either the right resources or answers to their questions,” said Salgatar, who also heads marketing and business development at C&G Technologies.
C&G Technologies is the sole sponsor of the project to prevent it from being filled with other advertisements or unreliable sources.
