Since opening its doors in 1979, Antonello Ristorante has been the place where anybody who’s somebody goes for a power lunch, a quiet dinner or a social event. Much of that has to do with its owner and founder, Antonio Cagnolo, a dynamic figure in the Orange County business scene. He grew up in the foothills of Italy and created his own brand of cuisine, which he calls Cucina Nostalgica Italiana.

Best childhood memory: Playing football (soccer) with my friends
Very first job: Washing dishes in a restaurant when I was 13 years old – by hand
Secret vice: Chocolate
Personal motto: The harder I work, the luckier I get.
What you do to unwind: Go to the health club, and spend time with family and friends.

What you love most about your work: Working with people – especially in the O.C.
