Laura Stearn founded Mission Viejo-based HY-Jean Corp. with the goal of redesigning ordinary products for women to make them more fashionable and of higher quality. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, she has worked with top couture houses in Europe and has been running her own fashion business in Orange County for 20 years. Her newest venture comes in the form of Pantzies, which are available in an array of fashionable and fun prints like pink leopard and antique rose. And Stearn believes in giving back: A portion of sales are routinely donated to various women’s health organizations to benefit breast and ovarian cancer research.
