CHOC receives Ventana Research 2008 award
The local children's hospital has garnered another award for its outstanding business practices.

The Ventana Research 2008 Business Performance Leadership award is given to organizations that keep all systems – staff, administration, technology and information – working together for a strong business.
"Our quality initiative is deeply rooted in patient outcomes," says Beth Rowett, CHOC's vice president of quality. "Aligning the entire organization against measurable outcomes ensures that nothing stands in the way of our ability to provide high-quality care to children who need it."
CHOC, which was founded in 1964, has maintained a high standard and was won numerous awards, most recently, the Bronze Level CAPE award from the California Council of Excellence.
