The new Economic Science Institute, under the direction of Stephen Rassenti, Ph.D and Nobel laureate Vernon L. Smith, was founded last year. The center uses the laboratory method of inquiry to learn more about human socioeconomic behavior.

The series, co-presented by the International Foundation for Research in Experimental Economics (IFREE), will be led by visiting scholars to the school, focusing on groundbreaking research and developments in the field.

Lectures will be held at the ESI headquarters on the first floor of Wilkinson Hall and will run Fridays, starting Oct. 3 and ending Nov. 7 (excluding Oct. 31). For more information, visit chapman.edu/esi.
