There's also "no relief" on the job front: Employment in the region's manufacturing sector is expected to decrease to 38.1, down from 41 in the third quarter. On a slightly more positive note, the seasonally adjusted index for production is projected to increase to 57, up from 55.8 in the third quarter. The news indicates that production will continue to rise through the end of 2009.
