![]() “With all the interest in the state, national and global economies, we wanted to address the members of our field with an economic forecast that takes into account the specific needs and interests of the legal profession,” says the school's dean, John Eastman. The event will begin with a reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by Eastman's State of the Law School address. Doti will then present the report, and an opportunity for questions and answers will follow. This is the first annual economic forecast for the law school – but not for Chapman. The Anderson Center for Economic Research's forecast is among the nation's most respected. Doti is well known for presenting these reports, along with Esmael Adibi, director of the center. “President Doti has created an economic forecast that will be of interest to all attorneys, judges, legal firms and other members of our field as they plan their upcoming year,” says Eastman. “The Chapman School of Law is proud to take the lead in creating this exciting new economic forecast for our profession.” The event will be held tonight at 4110 MacArthur Blvd. in Newport Beach. Admission is free, but seating is limited and reservations are required. For a reservation or for more information, call 714.628.2605.
