Orange County firms work to help out local nonprofit
Driven 4 Kids charity golf tournament received support from community businesses.

Irvine-headquartered CommerceWest Bank sponsored the 2nd annual Driven 4 Kids charity golf tournament, which took place last Friday at the Black Gold Golf Course, in Yorba Linda.
Driven 4 Kids is an organization dedicated to providing a better life for local children by creating fundraising events that will benefit hospitals, research and other charities.
JStar Motors, host of the event, this year reached out to CommerceBank to contribute to the cause.
All proceeds made from the golf tournament benefited the Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
“J-Star Motors has been a client of the bank for many years,” said Ivo Tjan, chairman and CEO of CommerceWest Bank. “When they offered us this opportunity, we did not hesitate and looked at it as another way to say thank you for allowing us to be their business partner for so many years."
“CommerceWest has a strong focus on being one of the leading advocates for nonprofit organizations,” continued Tjan. “We consistently find ways to give back to nonprofit organizations by offering a unique array of complimentary signature services, whether it is promoting events to an exclusive network of contacts or providing assistance and coordination to ensure their event’s go as planned.”
