Irvine-based ChopShop crew Partner and Director Zach Lyons and Producer Sean Osborne began their four month long, nine location journey May 1to shoot the most competitive wakeboarders on their quest for the sport’s top spot and $300,000 in prizes. The competitors consist of the best professional regional and international athletes. The contest, The King of Wake, is a compilation of the sport’s most notorious events. The World Wakeboard Association presides over the competitions, and Winter Park, Florida based World Sports & Marketing will be converging with Wakeboarding Magazine to produce the season long series. Lyons and Osborne will follow the King of Wake in its entirety. FUEL TV will air the nine episodes shot by ChopShop in high definition beginning in late June 2010.
