Circuit City to close Foothill Ranch store
The electronics chain, which has about 12 stores in Orange County, is closing 155 locations.

As the retail market continues its downward slide into the holiday season, Circuit City is just one of many companies being adversely affected.
Circuit City plans to close stores that generated $1.4 billion in total sales during 2008. The stores will not open on Nov. 4 and will begin store sales on Nov. 5.
The company, based in Richmond Va., also announced plans to slow future store openings and renegotiate building leases.
The Foothill Ranch branch is located on Towne Centre Drive.
