Coastal Kids provides H1N1 vaccine, continued ...
Of that number, 6,000 have been administered by Coastal Kids to both patients and nonpatients, while 3,000 doses were shared with the county, and more than 1,000 were given by Coastal Kids to other local providers.
To help with the vaccines, Coastal Kids has hired a swine flu coordinator and an additional 20 health care personnel to coordinate, schedule and administer the vaccine.
Coastal Kids has centers in Laguna Niguel, Newport Beach and Ladera Ranch. The provider has earned nationwide praise for its comprehensive approach to pediatric health care in O.C. Coastal Kids' hospital affiliates include Hoag Memorial Hospital, Saddleback Memorial Medical Center, Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center and Children’s Hospital at Mission.
The doses are available while supplies last.
