Nancy Dahan is more than just a family law attorney; she also seeks justice for women and helps them get through tough times. Dahan grew up in a family dedicated to social causes, and she’s been an advocate since she was a teen. Her Irvine-based law practice, Brown & Dahan, provides pro bono services for women in need who otherwise could not obtain legal help. Additionally, her 911 website helps women dealing with issues such as abuse and sexual assault. Dahan’s professional successes and commitment to the community have resulted in her being honored among the Most Remarkable Women of Orange County by the National Association of Women Business Owners. Dahan serves on the board of directors of Human Options, which helps to restore hope and rebuild the lives of battered women and their families. She recently co-chaired the organization’s fall fundraiser, which netted $190,000.
Advice to women in business: Create the life you want through your career; don’t follow some archaic idea of what it should be.
