Tammie McMann Brailsford oversees the clinical, quality, financial and operational performance of the entire MemorialCare Health System. Her efforts at expense reduction, business growth and strong fiscal management have earned MemorialCare an AA bond upgrade. Brailsford has improved organizational culture and operating programs, and led MemorialCare’s early adoption of a comprehensive electronic medical record system.
Biggest challenge in 2012: “Communicating with a spirit of encouragement to our 11,000 employees and 2,300 physicians, so they see industry changes as an opportunity to be seized, not a threat to be feared.”
