![]() This year’s new president of the Orange County Bar Association, Dimetria A. Jackson, has some terrific ideas. She plans to focus on technology and strategic planning and, as a mother, she plans to formalize a committee of “mommy lawyers” to address issues pertaining to women attorneys with young children. Jackson handles corporate transactional matters with the Montage Legal Group. In addition, she’s the CEO of redBAMBINA.com, an online retail boutique. Jackson was selected as an Echoing Green Foundation Fellow after completing law school. She pursued her fellowship at the National Health Law Program, a national public interest law firm in Los Angeles, where she founded the Women & HIV Policy Development Project to provide legal advice, training and advocacy on access to healthcare for low-income, HIV-positive women and others at high risk. Advice to women in business today: Be passionate about your business; observe your competition, so you can offer products, skills or services that are not being offered in the marketplace. 20 WOMEN TO WATCH Introduction by Executive Editor Steve Churm Nancy W.
