![]() Sandra Bolton made a lasting, positive effect when she was executive director for Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County, where she helped low-income families get free dental care. Today, Bolton is making a positive difference for children in a new way, as the new executive director of Pretend City Children’s Museum in Irvine. Bolton oversees the development of strategic community and business relationships for the museum. Previously, Bolton, a lawyer and a nurse who has worked in both professions, served as the City of Hope’s vice president of Professional Services. Under her leadership, Healthy Smiles for Kids Orange County raised more than $7.5 million in its first four years, constructed a 7,000-square-foot dental facility and collaborated with other institutions to establish the first dental residency program in Orange County.
