Top executive: Lorraine Francis, principal
Cadiz Collaboration provides architectural, interior design and green consulting services to major hotels, spas and restaurants, including major brands such as Starwood and Xanterra Resorts.
Over the past two years, the firm has completed more than $100 million in built projects in the hospitality sector. Lorraine Francis, its principal, is a sustainable-business specialist who is the chair of the US Green Building Council’s Orange County Sustainable Hospitality Committee.
Her upcoming book, “The Sustainable Shift,” discusses how people can create a sustainable action plan on a personal,
business and community-wide level.
“It’s about easing into sustainability and empowering the individual,” says Francis. “You can’t make it an all-or-nothing prospect or it’s too daunting; every bit of change helps, and you can keep progressing.”
