POSITION: President of Diamond Jamboree LLC
ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Led the development of the Diamond Jamboree Shopping Center, an Irvine shopping and dining district that caters to Orange County’s Asian-American population
WHAT YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR WORK: I really enjoy being able to create a center that meets the needs of the community. I get to help people open up the store of their dreams and then see the patronage of each tenant. I also get to see the center contribute to other activities, especially charity functions.
PROFESSIONAL PHILOSOPHY: I always strive to make everyone involved – the tenant, the shopper and the community – happy and benefit from my work.
PROUDEST PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT, AND WHY IT STANDS OUT: The grand opening of the Diamond Jamboree Shopping Center, because we were able to develop a center to serve the community during this economic downturn.
ADVICE FOR WOMEN ENTERING THE WORK FORCE: There is no glass ceiling, and you should always be passionate about your work.
